VIRGINS Virgins available for Hire! Matt Byrne is ready to offer three kinds of Virgins to the public. "We have a 30-minute version for the corporate market, a 90-minute version and a two-hour version for the whole evening. The smash hit show which sold out at the 2004 Adelaide Fringe, and went to the 2004 Edinburgh Festival is now ready to fly high in Adelaide again. Byrne said he was still “overwhelmed” by the success of Virgins, which follows the mile-high mayhem aboard Inncontinental Airlines Flight 04169, as four actors play every passenger and crew member on the cut-price flight. “I had always hoped that it would go where planes could go,” he said. “But never dreamed that we would mirror the actual script where Dickie Layker's new airbus goes from Australia to London!”
Virgins stars Cathie Oldfield as Cabin Supervisor Margaret, Paul Mayes as hunky Carbone, Chantel Dimasi as the airheaded Cassie and Matt Byrne as the bitchy Neil. They also play everyone from nifty nuns to footy trippers, little brats, boorish businessmen, psycho pilots, rich bitches and horny netballers, all trying to make it to London.
